The core features are free. Primaly Pro, the paid plan, removes the limits on habit stamps, block rules, NFC tags and more, and adds export and Reminders sync. Yes. Signing in with an Apple or Google account is required. Sign-in is used only to identify your records as yours and to back them up — your journal, tasks, and other content are never stored on our servers.

They are sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to generate responses, but they are never used to train AI models. Whether your journal text is shared with AI is a separate switch (off by default) that you control. See About AI and the Privacy Policy for details.

Because it is generative AI, its responses may contain errors. Please treat them as reference information.

On your device and in your own iCloud. Everything is encrypted on your device before it syncs, so neither we nor Apple can read it. You can turn sync off anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security.

Yes. As long as iCloud sync is on and you sign in with the same Apple Account, your records restore automatically on the new device. The encryption key follows automatically via iCloud Keychain. If you keep iCloud Keychain off, save a copy of your key from Settings › Data & backup › Recovery key in the app.

From Settings › Account › Delete account in the app, you can delete your on-device data, the iCloud copy, and your account all at once. See the Privacy Policy (data retention and deletion) for details.

If you used App Block, first turn Primaly off in your iPhone's Settings › Screen Time › Apps with Screen Time Access. Every closed app opens again. On Mac, tap Settings › App Block › Remove App Block entirely in the app; it also stops the menu bar watcher. If you delete Primaly without doing this, closed apps can stay closed.

They are optional. Without permission, some related features may be unavailable or fall back to default displays. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
